Donatas Stakvilevi\u010dius has been leading the group since 2011. The ensemble\u2019s repertoire includes songs, dances, and games from the Radvili\u0161kis region and Northern Auk\u0161taitija. The members of the group are cheerful and friendly people who gladly sing both Samogitian and <em>Dz\u016bk\u0173<\/em> songs. A significant part of the ensemble\u2019s repertoire is devoted to songs from the \u0160eduva area, based on ethnographic material collected by the late local historian Emilija Brajinskien\u0117, known as \u0160eduvos Baba. The \u0160eduva regional quadrille, along with other dances and games, has been revived. Each year, the ensemble performs more than twenty concerts throughout the country.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 Traditional folk songs and instrumental music performed by \u201cAidija\u201d can be heard on the CD \u201cOi tu \u017eirge, \u017eirge\u201d (2013) and the jubilee DVD release \u201cTe skamba aidas m\u016bs dainos\u201d (2016). The CD released in 2023, \u201cRadvili\u0161kio kra\u0161to tradiciniai muzikantai\u201d, features recordings by ensemble members D. Stakvilevi\u010dius, J. Stakvilevi\u010dien\u0117, V. Bagu\u0161ien\u0117, A. Bagu\u0161is, and B. Kiseliaus. Ensemble members play the <em>kankl\u0117s<\/em>, violins, clay instruments, skudu\u010diai (traditional Lithuanian panpipes), horns, lamzdeliai (flutes), Pentecost horns, dambreliai, basedle, and other instruments.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 The ensemble is regularly invited to participate in district, national, and international events. Since 1994, they have taken part in all folklore day programs of the &#8220;Lithuanian Song Festival&#8221;. \u201cAidija\u201d has participated in national and international festivals such as &#8220;Baltica&#8221;, &#8220;Europiada&#8221;, &#8220;Tek saulu\u017e\u0117 an mara\u010di\u0173&#8221;, &#8220;Atataria lamzd\u017eiai&#8221;, &#8220;Skamba skamba kankliai&#8221;, the Lithuanian Singing Folklore Performers Festival-Competition &#8220;Gr\u012f\u017eulai&#8221;, and the international folk contest-festival &#8220;Saul\u0117s \u017eiedas&#8221;. The group has appeared on LRT TV shows like &#8220;Duokim garo&#8221;. The ensemble has represented Lithuania in Germany, Latvia, Estonia, Switzerland, and Sardinia.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 The ensemble organizes and celebrates calendar festivals such as U\u017egav\u0117n\u0117s (Shrovetide), Atvelykis (Easter Monday), Rasos (Midsummer), and Sekmin\u0117s (Pentecost), and hosts Advent evenings. From 2009 to 2015, the ensemble initiated the international folklore festival \u201cGaniau pal\u0161us jautelius\u201d, and since 2016, they have organized the \u0160kaplierin\u0117s Pilgrimage Folklore Festival \u201cRytoj i\u0161 ryto rugelius kirsim\u201d. Every year, they participate in the Baltic Unity Day events, organize the ethnocultural event \u201cVisa Lietuva \u0161oka\u201d (All Lithuania Dances), and the national student folklore dance contest \u201cPatrepsyn\u0117\u201d. The folklore ensemble \u201cAidija\u201d has prepared thematic programs such as \u201c\u012ekurtuv\u0117s\u201d, \u201c\u017dmogi\u0161kumo keliu\u201d, and \u201c\u017dirgas \u2013 Dievo dovana\u201d. Their performances emphasize the importance of patriotism, unity, and peace.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 In 2023, the ensemble was awarded the \u201cAukso pauk\u0161t\u0117\u201d prize for the nomination \u201cBest Regional Folklore Ensemble and Its Leader\u201d.
