\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 The Folk Ensemble \u201cSidabrin\u0117 gija\u201d of \u0160iauliai Culture Centre has been active for more than 30 years. It is led by artistic director Vita Tau\u010dien\u0117-Rezgien\u0117. The ensemble consists of 25 senior participants who cherish folklore, with members aged between 64 and 96 years.<\/p>\n
\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 The ensemble \u201cSidabrin\u0117 gija\u201d participates in various events and concerts, as well as the international folklore festival \u201cAtataria lamzd\u017eiai\u201d in Kaunas and the international folk festival \u201cSaul\u0117s \u017eiedas\u201d since 2005.<\/p>\n
\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u201cHaving fallen in love with song and dance in our youth, inheriting the ethnic heritage from our parents and grandparents, and preserving it in our hearts as a cultural treasure, we now bring it to the present day with love and respect for the younger generation,\u201d say the ensemble members in unison.<\/p>\n
