\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 The Folk Music Band \u201cRadvija\u201d was founded in 2008. The ensemble preserves and promotes Lithuanian folk songs and melodies, as well as traditional folk music-making. The majority of the repertoire consists of Lithuanian folk melodies arranged by the ensemble members themselves.<\/p>\n
\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u201cRadvija\u201d performs for local communities, at city and district festivals, and at various special events. The band has presented concert programs in many cities and towns across Lithuania. They have also performed during concert tours in Latvia, Hungary, Poland, and the United States.<\/p>\n
\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 For 16 years now, on the initiative of the ensemble, the regional band festival \u201c\u017dem\u0117j Lietuvos\u201d has been organized.<\/p>\n
\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 The ensemble\u2019s motto is: \u201cEverything simple is original.\u201d<\/p>\n
