\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 On the 1st of July, the 10th international folk contest-festival \u201cThe Flower of the Sun\u201d began in \u0160iauliai, bringing together performers from 12 different countries. The first day of the festival started with a warm and productive gathering \u2014 a meeting between the organizers and foreign guests, attended by the heads of all international delegations and the festival organizers.
\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 During the meeting, the organizers welcomed the participants, thanked all the groups for arriving safely in \u0160iauliai, and expressed their delight at having so many representatives from various countries taking part in this special event \u2014 now being held for the tenth time.
\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 Delegation leaders briefly introduced their countries and groups, and shared their expectations for the festival. It was a great opportunity to establish initial contacts, strengthen international cooperation, and create a warm sense of community that will continue throughout the festival week.
\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 The organizers also presented the schedule for the first day, provided participants with key information on concert times, rehearsals, logistics, and general festival rules.<\/p>\n
