In the heart of \u0160iauliai city \u2013 at the Resurrection Square, the Cathedral of St. Apostles Peter and Paul, and other venues \u2013 the international folk contest-festival \u201cThe Flower of the Sun\u201d has been bustling for the fifth day.
At the “Sun Terrace” (shopping center “Saul\u0117s miestas”), colorful concerts took place, featuring guests from Azerbaijan, Spain, and Ukraine \u2013 their music and dances enchanted the people of \u0160iauliai and the city\u2019s visitors.
The concert “TO A HUMAN AND THE GOD,” held at the \u0160iauliai Cathedral of St. Apostles Peter and Paul, created a sensitive atmosphere with ensembles and performers from Portugal, Azerbaijan, Poland, Slovakia, Spain, Ukraine, and Lithuania. Lithuania was represented by well-known folklore groups and performers \u2013 Damil\u0117 and Lukas Bagdonavi\u010diai, “Ciutel\u0117,” “Verpeta,” “Dij\u016bta,” “Labingis,” and “Davila.”
The concert of the festival at Resurrection Square gathered groups from Serbia, Hungary, Portugal, North Macedonia, and Lithuania. Talented ensembles appeared on the stage and invited the audience to experience the charm of contemporary folklore.
\u201cThe Flower of the Sun\u201d is more than just a festival. It is a dialogue of cultures and a celebration of traditions. <\/p>\n
