On 15 September 2026, registration will open<\/strong> for participants from Lithuania and abroad to take part in the 11th International Folk Contest-Festival \u201cThe Flower of the Sun\u201d, which will be held on 2\u20138 July 2027 in \u0160iauliai (Lithuania) and the Northern Lithuania region.<\/p>\n \u201cThe Flower of the Sun\u201d, now entering its third decade, is included in the official event calendar of the International Dance Festivals Federation (FIDAF) and the International Organization of Folk Art (IOV). It is the largest internationally recognized folklore festival in the Baltic States and one of the largest in Eastern Europe. The 11th International Folklore Competition-Festival \u201cSaul\u0117s \u017diedas\u201d plans to invite performers from 10\u201315 foreign countries and more than 300 performers from Lithuania.<\/p>\n Attention!<\/strong><\/p>\n Registration for foreign performers wishing to participate in the competition programme will be open from 15 September 2026 until 15 February 2027<\/strong>.
