On the 4th of July, on the occasion of the opening ceremony of the 9th international folklore festival\/competition \u201cFlower of the Sun\u201d, the participants of the festival had the opportunity to meet with the mayor of \u0160iauliai. The guests were greeted by the vice-mayor of \u0160iauliai, Justinas \u0160v\u0117g\u017eda, who greeted the participants and the organisers of the festival in a charismatic and cheerful manner. The vice-mayor presented the history of \u0160iauliai, the most interesting facts of the city, enjoyed the hospitality of its inhabitants, and presented the guests with a memento of \u0160iauliai. The participants of the festival briefly introduced themselves and talked about their country and culture.<\/p>\n
