The folklore group presents dances, music, and scenic choreographies from the regions of Zemplín, Šariš, Gemer, and Malohont. Its mission is the preservation, development, and revival of the cultural values of folklore art; the artistic stylization of musical and dance folklore; educational activities carried out through concerts and public performances; as well as participation in various leisure-time artistic activities.
Since its establishment in 2002, the folklore group has been working diligently and intensively to capture the attention of audiences in Slovakia. The group regularly participates in various cultural and folk programs at the district and regional levels. More than 300 performances both at home and abroad testify to its high artistic standards.
The artistic and organizational directors, as well as choreographers of the group, are Anicka and Miro Jenco. Currently, the group consists of 40 dancers aged 14 and older. Its home is in the municipality of Čemerné, Vranov nad Topľou. Over the years, the group has visited several European countries, including the Czech Republic, Poland, the Netherlands, Germany, Croatia, Romania, and Portugal.
