Alvaidas Bernotas – birbynė player, educator, performer.
In 2003, he graduated from the Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theatre, earning a bachelor’s degree in music (birbynė specialization, class of Associate Professor K. Mikiška), and in 2005, he completed his master’s degree at the same institution.
A. Bernotas is a laureate of the national Jonas Švedas Folk Instrument Performers Competitions (2002, 2005).
As a soloist and ensemble member, he has performed with the kanklės trio “Aušrinė”, and the choirs “Atžalynas”, “Polifonija”, “Melomanai”, as well as with other renowned Lithuanian performers.
