From the very beginning, “Linkava” has prioritized the folklore of Northern Lithuania. Today, the ensemble proudly performs songs, dances, and circle dances from the Linkuva region, preserving their original form, content, and authentic performance style. In their concert programs, the ensemble members bring back to life long-forgotten customs.
The folklore ensemble performs not only for the local community but also throughout Lithuania. They are also frequent guests in Latvia.
The ensemble is a regular participant in the Lithuanian Song Festivals. This year, the folklore ensemble “Linkava” is celebrating its 45th anniversary.
