During the 10th international folk contest-festival “The Flower of the Sun” city residents and guests are invited to visit the “Space for traditional ethnic games and entertainment”, located next to the main festival stage at Resurrection Square (Prisikėlimo a.).
“Space for traditional ethnic games and entertainment” is a unique place where traditional Lithuanian games, culture, and modern entertainment come together. Here, everyone can not only have fun but also explore our nation’s heritage through engaging and active experiences.
This space offers a variety of ethnographic games, such as traditional outdoor games, folk sports activities, handmade board games, and educational tasks inspired by the way of life and customs of our ancestors. These activities not only develop physical endurance and agility but also foster a sense of community and help revive ancient traditions.
