The Vatan Mugham Group performs with ancient national instruments of Azerbaijan, many of which are included on UNESCO’s Intangible Cultural Heritage List. The ensemble consists of highly accomplished musicians — winners of national and international competitions, teachers at the Azerbaijan National Conservatory and the Azerbaijan State University of Culture and Arts, and soloists of the National Musical Instruments Orchestra of the TURKSOY International Organization of Turkic Culture.
